About Us
St. Thomas-Babbtown Mutual Insurance Company has been protecting farms and homes for more than a century. We provide insurance coverage for home and farm property. This includes your home, its contents, farm buildings of all kinds, farm machinery and livestock and farm liability. We also cover second homes, cabins and rental properties.
Our policies are geared to protect the policyholder for lightning, hail, theft, vandalism, an earthquake, ice coverage, wells struck by lightning and many more.
Our rates are reasonable and have local agents that are happy to work with you on a quote.
Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting is held each year on the first Monday in February at the Citizens Civic League community center located in Meta, MO. Policy holders are encouraged to attend the annual meeting which begins at 7:00 p.m.
February 3, 2025 we will be having our annual meeting at the Civic League hall, open to all policyholders. Refreshments will be served following the business meeting. A postcard with all the details will be mailed to policyholders in January 2025. In case of bad weather the meeting will be postponed until February 10th. We hope to see you there. If you are uncertain of the weather, please call one of the Board members listed at the bottom of the 2025 calendar.
